Edward E. Campbell, Jr.

Edward Evans Campbell, Jr. was born in Natchitoches, LA to Edward and Geneva Campbell on July 15, 1948 and entered into rest on January 7, 2019. He was a member of Belmont Union Baptist Church. He served honorably in the United States Army. Funeral services for Mr. Campbell will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Belmont Union Baptist Church in Belmont, LA. Officiating will be Brother John Lewing and Brother Glynn Howard. Interment will follow at the Belmont Cemetery in Belmont, LA. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Belmont Union Baptist Church. Preceding Edward, Jr. in death were his parents; his daughter, Melissa Ann "Missy" Campbell Rivers; his great granddaughter, Ann Marie Murphy; and brothers, Johnny Campbell and Gene Campbell. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters Nancy Campbell Murphy and Russell of Many, LA; Mindy Campbell and Jason of Many, LA. In addition, Mr. Campbell is survived by his sisters, Lillie Campbell Early and husband, Gerald of Belmont and Rebecca Campbell LaFleur and husband Mike of Many, LA. He also leaves behind his brothers: Troy Campbell and wife Esther of Belmont; James Campbell and wife Sherri of Belmont; and Robert Campbell and wife Jennifer of Little Elam, Texas. He is also survived by his son-in-law, Delayne Rivers. The lights of Edward's eyes were his precious grandchildren: Emily, Zachary Allison, Garrett, Alyssa, Tyler, and Marlee. Last but not least was the newest edition to his family is his great granddaughter, HazelAnn. Honoring him as pallbearers will be Edward Early, Darrin Campbell, Jonathan Campbell, Drew Campbell, Derek Campbell, and Jonah Powell. Serving Edward as honorary pallbearers will be Zachary Murphy, Garrett Murphy, Tyler Rivers, Cody Brandon, Buddy Brandon, and Bo Campbell.
