Edna Inez Coleman

Funeral services for Edna Inez Coleman, 101, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 27, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Bro. Terry Owen officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Inez was born January 4, 1917 in Shreveport LA and went to be with the Lord August 22, 2018. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church for 68 years. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, outdoor activities, fishing, and being with her family. Inez was preceded in death by her husband, Dick Coleman; parents, James Richard and Lillie Tennesse Hudson Willis; one sister; and five brothers. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Patsy Owen and husband Dale and Phyllis Baker; grandchildren, Tom Owen, Terry Owen, Tammy Owen, Valerie Willis, and Frankie McGraw; 14 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Chris Willis, Casey Willis, Cody Willis, Eddie McGraw, Tom Owen, and Carey Owen. The family would like to thank special nurse, Darlene and CNA, Torie of Heritage Manor Stratmore as well as Melissa and Kate of Life Path Hospice.
