Edmonds Reese Thomas

Funeral services for Edmonds Reese Thomas will be held March 26, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Minister Tracy Winget officiating. Prior to the service the family will receive family and friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana.

Edmonds Thomas was born October 13, 1931, in Leton, Louisiana and entered into rest March 24, 2026, in Minden, Louisiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Merrell Lee Thomas (dad) and Katie Lee Thomas (mother), and the love of his life-his wife Geraldine Lewis Thomas. Also preceding him in death were his three sisters, Marjorie Childs, Poochie Modisette, and Patsy Gryder.

Survivors include a brother, Jimmie Thomas, and a sister, Wanda Butler. His three children, daughters, Winona Howell, Debra Winget (Wayne), and a son Randy Thomas (Mitzi). His grandchildren, Dustin Howell, Wendy Greene (Robby), Jason Winget, Tracy Winget (Lorrie), Christopher Winget (Hannah), and Kendall Thomas (Sara). His great-grandchildren, Lisa Waibel Reber, Stephen Howell, Jenna Greene, Allie Greene, Aiden Winget, Mason Winget, Braxton Winget, Logan Winget, Dean Winget, Hadley Thomas, Harper Thomas, and Duke Thomas.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons.

Honorary pallbearers will be his great-grandchildren.
