Eddie Randal Jones

Funeral services for Eddie Randal Jones, 73, will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Inurnment will follow at a later date. A visitation will be held Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Officiating the service will be Pastor Kevin Arinder. Eddie was born on September 27, 1948 in Texarkana, Texas to Curtis Dean Jones and Nina Rebecca Jackson Jones and passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Eddie was a resident of Mooringsport, Louisiana and worked as a mechanic in the automotive and oilfield industry before retiring. Eddie loved the sport of fishing. He had a dream of having a sailboat and taking his entire family sailing on the open seas. He loved motorcycles and playing games on the computer, particularly sailing games. He adored his family and all of his grandchildren. They were the joy in his life. Eddie is preceded in death by his parents; and son, Dennis Jones. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 29 years, Martha Jones; son, Samuel Jones; daughter, Amanda Jones; stepdaughter, Penni Calhoun and husband, Joshua; brothers, Danny Jones and J.C. Jones; sister, Nina Schwab and husband, Roger; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Eddie will be greatly missed by everyone that knew and loved him.
