Earnest "Ernie" Lee Mode

Earnest “Ernie” Lee Mode, 61, of Keithville, Louisiana passed away on November 18, 2023. He was born on August 28, 1962, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Earnest (Corkey) Mode and Robbie Pardue Mode.

A private graveside service will be held at Forest Park West Cemetery on December 6, 2023, at 4:00 p.m.

Ernie was an avid musician and double bass drummer. He loved music, moto crossing, and riding Harleys. Ernie enjoyed working for BailSco Blades and Casting for 11 years.

Ernie was preceded in death by his partner, Karen Steel; father, Earnest (Corkey) Mode; maternal grandparents, Doyle and Viola Pardue; aunt, Patsy Pardue Short; and cousin, Vicky Nichols Lalena. Left to cherish his memory include his mother, Robbie Pardue Mode and cousin, Gregg Nichols.
