Marthaville, LA - A funeral service celebrating the life of Earl Wayne Greer, 70, will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 7, 2018 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill, LA with Reverend Ricky Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in Old Pisgah Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM at the church prior to service time. Mr. Greer was born on April 12, 1948 in Sabine Parish, LA to Wilford Charlie and Della Clodeal Greer and passed away December 5, 2018 in Natchitoches, LA. Mr. Greer was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Wilford Charlie Greer, Jr. Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Earl Wayne Greer, Jr. and Wesley Rains Greer; sisters, Sharon Bacon and husband, Cory; and brothers, Jessie Greer and wife, Helen, John Greer and wife, Paula, Ricky Greer, Kevin Greer and wife, Renée; and two grandchildren. Honoring Mr. Greer as pallbearers will be Lee Greer, Matthew Greer, Jessie Lee Greer, Gary Friday, Mike Downs, Adam Phelps, and David Greer.
