Dr. Benjamin Bryan "Ben" Cabell

Memorial services for Dr. Benjamin Bryan Cabell will be held Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at St John’s episcopal Church in Minden, Louisiana with Father Wayne Carter and Father Robert Dandridge officiating.

Ben was born July 22, 1935, in Honolulu, Hawaii and entered into rest September 11, 2025, in Minden, Louisiana. He served his country as a Captain in the United States Navy for 40 years. He was a practicing pediatrician in Fort Smith Arkansas for 30 years. Ben was a faithful member of St John’s Episcopal Church in Minden, Louisiana.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Merle Bryan Cabell Clutter and his father, Gerald F. Cabell.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years, Evalyn Woods Cabell, of Minden, sister Vyvian Cabell Shuler of Winston-Salem, NC, and brother-in-law Charles Woods and wife Beverly, of Fayetteville, AR. children Laura Cabell Hollingsworth and husband, Gary of Minden, Bryan Cabell and wife, Teri, of Rogers, AR and Scott Cabell and wife, Christina, of Shreveport, Niece Jill Shuler Bowman, of Winston-Salem NC and nephew Jeff Shuler of Brevard, NC.

Also loved and remembered by 9 Grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
