Doyle Edwin English

Funeral services honoring the life of Rev. Doyle English,81, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Hunter Magnolia Baptist Church in Mansfield, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be his children, Lisa Perkins, Rev. Dale English, and Dennis English. Assisting the service will be Bro. Amador Santos and Rev. Charles "Chucky" Clark. Interment will follow at Cool Springs Cemetery in Logansport, Louisiana. A visitation with the family will be held before time of service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Doyle was born on October 29, 1938 in the Hunter Community to John and Goldie English. He entered into rest on March 18, 2020 in Mansfield, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Goldie English; sisters, Geraldine English and Margie Jordan; brother, Talmadge English. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sarah English; children, Lisa English Perkins of Stanley, LA, Dennis Lee English and wife Patsy of Bossier City, LA, and Jerry Dale English and wife Heather of Stanley, LA; brothers, Charles Proby English and Donald Wayne English; sister, Johnnie Bell Honeycutt; grandchildren, Christina Perkins Smith, Joshua Perkins, Christopher English, Crystal Ramsey, Caleb English, Daniel English, and Christian English; great-grandchildren, Damien, Melody, Charlie, Weston, Luke, Lexie, Steven, Amy, Tucker, and Helynn. Honoring Rev. Doyle as pallbearers will be Christopher English, Caleb English, Daniel English, Christian English, Joshua Perkins, and Jacob Smith.
