Douglas Irwin Williams

It is with great sadness that the family of Douglas Irwin Williams announces his passing on June 17, 2025, at the age of 67.

Known affectionately as “Pat Pat” and “Pa”, Doug was a friend to so many and touched countless lives with his kindness, generosity, and willingness to help anyone who reached out to him. He loved fishing and cherished time with his family.

Doug will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Rhonda Williams.

He was predeceased by his parents, Ken and Erna Williams, and sister-in-law Maxine Williams.

He is survived by his siblings, Gail Carstairs, Dale Williams (wife Debbie), Darrell Williams (wife Joanne), Brian Williams (wife Echo Lynn), Glen Williams (late wife Maxine), and Gwen Ulliac (husband Gerald).

Doug will be deeply missed by his children, Tara Williams, Chad Williams, Jenna Williams (partner Rob), daughter-in-law Keally Williams, stepson Brian Cox (wife Charley), and stepson Dusty Cox (wife Angel).

He was a proud grandfather to Phoenix Williams, Roman Williams, Kaellum Williams, Keanna Williams, Keyerah Dalrymple, Dakota Cox (wife Emmaline), Dawson Cox (wife Kirsten), Logan Cox, Trace Cox, Keegan Cox, Kaylee Cox, Noah Bonnett, Hayden Cox, Aurora Cox, Titan Cox, and Kayleigh Bonnett.

He was also blessed with great-grandchildren Carter Cox and Drake Cox, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 14320 Hwy 84, Logansport, Louisiana.
