HAUGHTON, LA - Graveside services for Dorsie R. Moore will be 2 p.m. Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Carlisle Cemetery, Carlisle, AR under the direction of Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke, AR (501)676-2375. Local arrangements are under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA, where visitation for Dorsie will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, October 7, 2016. Dorsie was born March 1, 1922 in Carlisle, AR to James A. and Edna McLaughlin Rose. She died October 4, 2016 in Shreveport, LA. Dorsie was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Moore; parents and brothers, Jim Rose and Charlie Johnson. Dorsie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Hal and Christy Moore; daughter and son-in-law, Terry and Scott Harkey; grandchildren, E.D. and her husband Chris Stewart, Jack Harkey, LeAnn and her husband Philip Bussey, and Leah Moore; sister-in-law, Lena Rose; nephew, James Mitch Rose and his wife Janice, and great nephew, James Rose.
