Dorothy Jean Cobb

A Mass of Christian Burial for Dorothy "Jean" Lacobee Cobb, 86, will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 20, 2018 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Stonewall, LA with Father James Moran officiating. Interment will follow at St. Ann's Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the service begins at noon. Dorothy was born August 12, 1932 in Shreveport, LA and went to be with the Lord on October 16, 2018 in Shreveport. So many loved ones will cherish the beautiful memories of our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was very active in the Catholic Church and served as a Eucharistic minister for many years. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Eugenia Lacobee; brother, Stephen Lacobee; son, Jimmy Cobb Jr.; and great-granddaughter, Addyson K. Copeland. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Rebecca Jacobs (Steve), Donna Copeland (David), her son, Mark (Sandra); brother, Edgar Lacobee, sister, Linda Lee; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Brian Copeland, T.J. Copeland, David Copeland, Joey Earnest, Justin Earnest and Steve Jacobs. Honorary pallbearer will be Blake Ryder. Memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Flowers may be sent to Rose-Neath (Southside Dr.) Funeral Home in Shreveport, LA and will be delivered to the church.
