Dorothy Mae Beck

HOUSTON, TX - Graveside services will be held on Saturday July 21, 2018 at 11:30 am at the Minden City Cemetery, Minden, La. Dorothy was born on January 11, 1931 and passed away on Monday July 16, 2018 after a lengthy illness. Dorothy was a former resident of Shreveport, La. where she worked as an executive secretary for (United Gas) Pennzoil. She transferred to Houston, TX when the company moved to Houston in the mid-1970s where she worked until her retirement and then moved to Katy, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Egan Beck, Lula Mae Currie Beck, her brothers Charles, Freddie and Phil (Sr.), her nephew Phillip Beck, Jr. She is survived by her niece, Marian Lynn Beck Tollison (Eddie), Great- nephews, Matthew Kohlnhofer, Marshall, Adam, and Stuart Tollison. The family would like to express gratitude to Lucy Harrison for all the wonderful help with Dorothy throughout these last year's we could never have made it without you.
