Doris Rambin, 94, was born on June 24, 1932, in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana, to James Forrest Feazel and Ina Pauline Woods Feazel. She went to be with her Lord and savior on Saturday, July 11, 2026 in Mansfield, Louisiana.
Doris married James William Rambin on May 14, 1951. They were married 55 wonderful years until James’ death in August 2006. Her job was taking care of all her family, along with many others that came into her life. She was always willing to help anyone in need. She loved to sew, make quilts, canning and making crafts. Doris liked collecting antiques, she would always take something nobody else wanted. She enjoyed cooking for her family and neighbors. She loved spending time with her grandkids and especially her great grandkids.
Proceeded in death by her parents; her husband, James Rambin; sisters, Syble Marguerite Feazel Brown Duncan, (Charles), and Virginia Agnes Feazel Brown (Troyce); brother, James Douglas Feazel (Shirley); niece, Kay Brown.
Left to cherish her memory are her only child, Barry Dale Rambin (Connie) and grandchildren, Adam Tyler Rambin (Ashley), Zachary Hyche Rambin (Shannon), Erica Savell Hester (Brandon), Becca Savell Hubier, and great grandchildren, Eli Haynes, Sophia Rambin, Harrison Rambin, Brittany McCoy, Elizabeth Register, Atticus Rambin, Vada Rambin, Trendon Bailey, Annaleigh Hester, Annslee Hubier, and a host of other family members.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Rambin, Zach Rambin, Brandon Hester, Eli Haynes, Trendon Bailey, and Frank May.
Serving as honorary pallbearers are Keith Badiali, Jimmy Feazel, Ronald Brown, John Ebarb, Brian Melton, Richard Melton, Bubba English, Steve Melton, and Dennis Bell.
The family would like to express our appreciation to the staff at Mansfield Nursing Center. Everyone there loved and cared for Doris and made her happy. We can't express enough how we truly appreciate the special care, time and love given to her by Mackesia Bogan (Tweetie) and Danita Peoples. Also, we would like to thank the staff of Bristol Hospice Care, they were dedicated to making sure she was comfortable in her last days.
