Dora L. Dauzat

A memorial service for Dora Dauzat, age 85, of Marksville, will begin at 4:30pm on Monday, August 11, 2025 at the Rose-Neah Funeral Home in Marksville with Brother Daniel Wright officiating. The visitation will begin at 1:30pm until time of service. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery #2. 

Dora Dauzat passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at her home in Marksville surrounded by family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Glenn Dauzat of Marksville; grandchildren, Heather Dauzat of Deville, Jessica Dauzat of Marksville, Dwayne Dauzat of Marksville, and Coty (Melanie) Dauzat of Marksville. She is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Thurnitus "Gree" Dauzat, Jr.; daughter, Janell Dauzat; son, Jessie Dauzat; parents, Elpherge "TT" & Mary Lachney; and 3 sisters.

Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Marksville has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
