Donnie Ray Robison

A private family visitation for Donnie Robison of Stanley, La will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Rose-Neath Funereal Home Chapel in Logansport, La. A public service will not be held due to the Covid-19. A graveside service will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Stanley, La with Bro. David Permenter officiating. Donnie was born October 7, 1949 to A.W. & Doma Robison of Stanley, La. He entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 22, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Donnie was an educator in Desoto Parish for 47 years before retiring. Preceding Donnie in death are his parents, and two sisters, Alice Taylor, and Barbara McGinty. Those left to cherish his memory is his wife of 46 ½ years Jaye Daw Robison, sons, B.J. Robison & Coleman Robison both of Shreveport, La, brothers, Robert Robison & wife Carol of Blanchard, La, W.A Robison & wife Brenda of Natchitoches, La and Larry Robison & wife Suzi of Shreveport, La, sister-in-law Joyce Carter of Austin, TX, brothers-in-law, Lucky Taylor of Mansfield, TX, Johnny M. Daw & wife Evon of Nacogdoches, Tx, and Randy Thomas of Shreveport, LA. Honoring Donnie as pallbearers will be Roy Moton, Randy Thomas, Josh Thomas, Lynn Gingles, Kevin Cornet, and Frank Robison. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Eddie Gingles, Ricky Burch, and John Coussons.
