Donald Max Brown

A graveside service for Donald Max Brown was held on Monday August 5, 2024, at Holley Springs Cemetery in Martin, Louisiana

Donald was born on March 14, 1935 in Queen City, Texas to Worley M. Brown, Sr. and Ethylene Wallace Brown and entered into rest on July 31, 2024. 

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; Worley and Ethylene Brown; son, Bobby Don Brown, brothers, Jimmy Earl Brown, and Worley M. Brown, Jr. and sister Ruth Brown.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Elaine Murphy Brown; daughter, Nancy Delaine Brown Mitchell and husband Rev. James Mitchell, daughter in law, Andrea Wilson Brown and grandchildren, Eric Brown, Rachel Brown, and Patrick Mitchell.

Donald was a long-time employee and purchasing agent at Ark La Gas in Shreveport, Louisiana. He enjoyed playing guitar and tending to his home and farm. He was a long-standing member of the Fairview Alpha Baptist Church.
