Logansport, LA - Funeral services for Mr. Don David Pierce, 76, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Logansport, LA with Rev. Wayne Jones officiating. Family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, December 13, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Interment will be held at O. E. Price Cemetery in Logansport. Don was born on August 2, 1943 in Logansport, Louisiana to Walter and Catherine Pierce. He entered into rest on December 10, 2019 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Janice Rogers Pierce; brother, Billy Jack Pierce; sister, Iva Jean Cheatwood; father-in-law, Shelton Samuel Rogers and mother-in-law, Lois Steel Rogers. Don is survived by his daughter, Donisa Tingle and husband Shane of Logansport, LA; adopted sons, Charlie Metcalf and wife Tonya of Logansport, LA and Victor Tingle and wife Edie of Stanley, LA; sisters, Lynda Palmer and Betty Daniels of Mansfield, LA; a great friend, Carol Sue Richardson; grandchildren, Tayler Tingle, Haylee Tingle, Anna Tingle, Luke Tingle and Grayson Tingle; great-granddaughter, Aubrey Gentry. Serving Mr. Pierce as pallbearers will be Brian Dean, Chad Santos, Peter Stevens, Charles Ray Metcalf Cody Gentry and Cleve Hogg. Honorary pallbearers will be Luke Tingle, Grayson Tingle, Shane Metcalf and Dakota Metcalf.
