Graveside services honoring the life of Mr. Don W. Cox will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Campground Cemetery in Bienville, Louisiana.

Don W. Cox, born October 18, 1929, passed away on November 17, 2025 at the age of 96. As a child, Don lived near Hope, Arkansas, with his parents and nine siblings. He later married Nelia Ann King in May of 1950 in Bienville, Louisiana. Don and Ann were blessed with two children, Donna and Wayne, and as a family they lived many years near Blessing, Texas. He later purchased land and moved to the beautiful countryside of Reklaw, Texas, where he raised cattle and operated Donaway Plant Farm. Don loved the outdoors, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and farming. He delighted in spending time entertaining his many grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Noah Cox and Edna Irene Olds Cox, brothers William, Earnest, Durl, Hoyet, Jimmy, and Buddy, his wife Ann, and son Wayne Cox.

Left to cherish his memory are his three sisters, Joan Lively, Betty Sue Lee, and Barbara Burns, his daughter, Donna White, daughter-in-law, Lanette Cox, granddaughters, Christy Hamilton and husband Robert, Shawna Pippin and husband Michael, Amy Gilley, Laurie Beamon and husband Gene, Molly Curtis and husband Jeff, Joy Manyiri and husband Ray, and Megan Barnett along with 17 great grandchildren, and 3 great, great grandchildren. Don will be laid to rest at Campground Cemetery in Bienville, Louisiana next to his beloved wife Ann.
