Dinah Lyn Jordan

Funeral services for Dinah Lyn Jordan, 62, will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Road, Shreveport. A visitation will be held Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Officiating the service will be Pastor Will Simmons. Dinah was born on July 20, 1959 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Charles and Lydianne Jordan and passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 12, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana from liver disease. Dinah was a sweet, caring and loving soul. She was known as "NaNa" to her grandbabies that she loved with all her heart. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She always had a smile on her face and loved to laugh! She never met a stranger. She made friends with everyone she encountered. She had a zest for life that was off the chart. Her spirit brightened the room whenever she entered. She will be so deeply missed. She wrote: "I am not scared. God will see me through." Dinah is preceded in death by her parents; youngest daughter, Kori Dinkins; brother, Jimbo Tobin and sister, Jeri Phagan. Left to cherish her memory are her two sisters, Deborah Murphy and Pamela Fletcher and husband, Corey; two daughters, Kasie Dinkins and Kristi Harsh and husband, Justin; grandchildren, Kalyn and Dallas and Nathan and Noah; and her beloved dog, Pumpkin. Honoring Dinah as pallbearers will be Chase Phagan, Bobby Frasier, Korey Fletcher, Gary Sepulvado, Justin Harsh and Timothy Harsh. The family would like to express special thanks to the staff in the CCU Unit at Christus Hospital and Kendig and Rice Attorneys.
