Diane Marie Carmouche

Diane Marie Carmouche, age 71, of Marksville, entered into rest on February 5, 2024. She was born on February 21, 1953, in Cottonport, Louisiana, to Henry and Anna Lambert.

A memorial service will be held this Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at LifePoint Community Church in Mansura. Pastor John Riddle will be officiating.

Diane had a heart that was overflowing with love and kindness for her friends and family. Making sure her loved one’s needs were met before her own was a priority. She was the strongest person in the world and her family took every opportunity to show her this. Family meant everything to her, and she was a mother to everyone. She was the most amazing grandmother and her granddaughters made sure to tell her every chance they had. Diane enjoyed listening to music in her spare time and above all, loved the Lord.

Mrs. Diane was preceded in death by her late husband, Bobby Carmouche; her father, Henry Lambert; her mother, Anna Elaine Deshotel; sister, Jenny Lambert; and brothers, Ray Lambert and Donnie Deshotel.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Bobbie Jo Belin (Caleb) of Marksville, four sisters Vera Pruit (John) of Marksville, Becky Burghdoff (Derrick) of Krotz Springs, Marilee Thibodeaux of Dupont, and Nellie Dixon of Dupont. Four brothers; Stafford Deshotel ( Shereyl) of Bayou Jack, Chris Lambert (Samantha) of Marksville, Dale Lambert (Lou) of Moreauville and Mack Villmarette (Connie) of Marksville. Two grandchildren; Morgan Alissia Belin and Brooke Marie Dauzat-Cheffin (Jontarrious “J.J.”) of Marksville and one great grandson, Jayce Cheffin “Granny’s Man”.

The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude for the calls, messages and love that has been shown to them during this difficult time. Mrs. Diane will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in our hearts for eternity.
