Dewey Fermon Williams

Funeral services for Dewey Fermon Williams, 95, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, September 7, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Rev. David Venebal officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 2018 at the funeral home. Dewey was born September 3, 1925 in Chestnut, LA to Dewey and Rosa Williams and passed away on August 30, 2018 in Shreveport, LA. Dewey was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Norma Nichols Williams; and son, Roger Williams. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Terrell Williams, Sr.; sister, Dorothy Owens; and grandson, Terrell DEWayne Williams, Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews; and kind friends, Yvonne and Octavio Leon. Pallbearers will be his family members and friends. Terrell, Sr. would like to give a special thanks to Joe Venebal for his kind care of Unc Dewey.
