Dennis Ray Rice

A graveside service for Dennis Rice will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Forest Park West Cemetery in Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Robert Finley, PhD.

Dennis was born on October 13, 1954 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Melvin and Jackie Rice and passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022 in Shreveport, Louisiana after a long battle with cancer.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 36 years, Karen Rice; son, Stephen Rice and wife, Tori; daughter, Meredith Rice and her wife, Sheena; grandchildren, Presley, Ryley, Charley, Tatum, Porter, Mackenzie, Jackson and Hayden; brother, Kenneth Rice and nieces, Kendra Rice and Kristen Rice.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
