Memorial services celebrating the life of Dennis Barge Elmore will be held Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Church of Christ in Homer, Louisiana with Ray Anderson officiating.
Dennis was born March 9, 1954 in Magnolia, Arkansas and entered into rest August 12, 2019 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Dennis was a retired meat cutter and had lived in Mt. Ida, Arkansas for the past several years. He enjoyed music, playing his guitar, and watching LSU and Dallas Cowboys football.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Dickenson Elmore and his mother, Marzelle Phelps Elmore.
He is survived by his father and step mother Barge Darrell and Louise Benefield Elmore of Evergreen, sons, Dennis Elmore, Jr. of Mt. Ida, Arkansas, and Denver Brett Elmore of Camden, Arkansas, daughter, Denise Elmore Gore and husband Jeremy of Magnolia, Arkansas, brother, Darrell Elmore of Homer, step brothers, Dillard Sikes and wife Ginger of Minden, Grover Sikes and wife Lisha of Evergreen, step sisters, Elisha Taylor and husband Dal of Springhill, and Lavetra Johnson of Evergreen, nephew, Matthew Elmore of Homer, and eight grandchildren.
