BOSSIER CITY, LA - Deda Ann Taylor, 67, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020 in Bossier City, LA. Graveside Services will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Road , Shreveport, LA. 71109. Following the graveside service on Saturday, a Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. at the Tower Apostolic Church located at 6000 Hwy. 169, Mooringsport, LA 71060. Officiating will be Pastor Richard Wise of Tower Apostolic Church. The family will receive friends from 6 pm until 7 pm, Friday January 31, 2020 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City, LA. 71111.
Deda was born April 13, 1952 at Mt. Vernon, IN to her parents William Albert Norman and wife, Sarah Annie (Mayville) Norman. Deda married on September 7, 1973 to Ronald Eugene Taylor.
Deda was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, William Clayton Norman in 2009; her husband, Ronald Eugene Taylor in 2009; and her great nephew, Stephen Christopher McClure in 2019.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons; Christopher Brent Taylor and Brett Eugene Taylor, both of Blanchard, LA; her sister, Sarah G. "Jerri" Ritter and her husband Clyde J. Ritter of Lufkin, TX; her nieces, Brenda Kaye Richards and her son, Philip M.A. Blair and grandson, Michael Thomas all of Bossier City, LA, Monica L. McClure of Livingston, TX, Renata L. McClure of Ace, TX and Lisa M. McClure of Bartlesville, OK; nephews, David A. McClure of Beaumont, TX as well as other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Honoring Deda as pallbearers will be Kevin Dryden, Timothy Robbin, Charles Delpapa, Skylar Cantrel and Philip Blair.
