A Funeral service celebrating the life of Debra Ann Temple Gallaspy, 59, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 943 Polk St. Mansfield, Louisiana with Amador Santos officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Baptist Church Cemetery in Mansfield, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2025, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
Debra was born on December 8, 1965, in Mansfield, Louisiana to Newton Temple and Lois Ann Woodard and passed away peacefully August 19, 2025, surrounded by her loving family in Shreveport, Louisiana after a sudden illness.
Debra had a heart of gold. She literally put everyone ahead of herself and loved with her whole heart. Her generosity was boundless, if she was invited you better believe she was coming and would always be the first one there. Debra’s family was her life; she loved to travel and was always up for a new adventure. She would say “Just Let Me Know” just let me know sister what I need to do.
Debra was preceded in death by her loving parents, Lois Temple Reed and Newton “Buddy” Temple; brother, Bruce Temple and wife Sherri; nephews, Jon Ryan Temple, and Jason Sant, and niece, Brooke Farris.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Daniel Hewitt Gallaspy (38years); daughter, Ann Marie Manasco and husband Roy; granddaughter, Jayden “Toot” Manasco; sister Tina Farris and husband Dennis “BeBo”; brothers, Ricky Temple and wife Kim and Justin Reed and wife Tina, along with 12 nieces and nephews and a host of great nieces and nephews.
Honoring Debra as pallbearers will be Dennis Farris, Jr., Newton Farris, Josh Foshee, Justin Reed, Jr. “Lil Man”, Rustin Belcher, “Turtle” Belcher, Billy Roe, Steve Roe, Ethan Temple, and John Austin Temple.
Serving as honorary pallbearers are Doug Sanders, William Roe, Robert Springer, Robert Manasco, Dalton and Rylan Temple.
In lieu of flowers please donate to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in honor of her precious grandchild, Jayden Manasco.
