Debra "Deb" Davis

Memorial services for Debra "Deb" Davis, 66, will be held at 6:00 pm, Monday, February 3, 2020 at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Southside Chapel. Associate Pastor Scott Lamb will officiate. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 pm until service time at the funeral home. Deb was born November 12, 1953 in Bossier City, LA the daughter of James O'Neal and Ella Mae Bussie Harley. She passed away peacefully in her sleep Tuesday, January 28, 2020 in Shreveport. Deb was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Tommy Harley. Deb was a homemaker. She enjoyed having the neighborhood kids hang out with her and her boys, and did not miss an opportunity to teach them how to play a good game of rummy. Sweet tea and tostadas were her specialties. Deb loved fiercely and never failed to express her love for her family and for her Lord. Hugs were always welcome and no one dared to leave without giving at least one! Left to cherish her memory is her husband, James Davis; son Keith Simpson and wife Stacey, step-children Jeff Trammell, Stephen Trammell, Jason Trammell, Jimmy Davis, Danny Davis, Billie Davis, and Donny Davis; grandchildren Kiley Simpson, Slater Simpson, Madison Dinger, Brock Trammell, Kelsey Trammell, and Brady Trammell; siblings, Peggy Harley, Dennis Harley, Kenny Barker, Lottie Williams, Kandy Flores, Jimmy Harley, and Eunice Pelham; and very special friend, Dorothy "Momma" Johnson. The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the nursing and administrative staff of The Guest House, and to the staff at Regional Hospice Care Group of Northwest Louisiana.
