Deborah Deanne McAnelly

Funeral services for Deborah Deanne McAnelly, 62, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 2, 2026, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will take place at 3:15 at Forest Park West Cemetery. A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Pastor Scott Etheridge will be officiating.

Deborah was born May 24, 1964 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Eddie Leroy Mitchell and Peggy Jeanne Mitchell and passed away on October 27, 2026 in Shreveport.

A proud graduate of LSU-S, Deborah cherished spending time with her family, camping, and enjoying music.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Peggy Mitchell; and her brother, Eugene Mitchell. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Gary McAnelly; sister, Suzanne Cobb; niece, Holly Green; and nephews, Jade Cobb, Brandon McAnelly, and Luke McAnelly.

Honoring Deborah as pallbearers will be Luke McAnelly, Jade Cobb, Brandon McAnelly, Jimmy Hall, Taran Hall, and Ronnie Jordan, Sr. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Dean Wiggins, Linnie Lindsay, and Jon Lindsay.
