David Wayne Kellogg

David Wayne Kellogg, 68, passed away suddenly on Friday June 2, 2023.  He was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on November 6, 1954, to Robert F. Kellogg and Mary Ann Kellogg.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 9, 2023 located at Rose-Neath Funeral Home-2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana 71118.

David graduated from Southwood High School Class of 1972 and recently went to his 50th high school reunion. After school, he worked at AT&T for 17 years.  He later worked on computers and other equipment.  He loved gardening in his later years. He was a wonderful and supportive father, very involved in raising his children. He loved spending time with his children and grandsons  and always had the best time searching for the best Christmas presents for his two grandsons.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Ann Kellogg; his brothers, Jim Kellogg and John Kellogg; and his son, Stephen Michael Kellogg. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Gail Kellogg; daughter, Lisa Kellogg and her son Henry Franklin Bullock; and Stephen’s son Henry David Kellogg and his mother, Misti Lewis; niece, Kayla Gaiennie and nephew, Kyle Gaiennie; nephew, John Alex Kellogg and his wife Brittany. He is survived by three brothers-in-law and their wives and so many friends too numerous to list.  Just know that he loved and cared for all of you.
