David Scott Taylor

SHREVEPORT, LA - A Memorial Service for David Scott Taylor, 66, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019, at Blanchard Church of the Nazarene, Blanchard, LA. Officiating will be Reverend Delbert Terry and visiting Reverends. David was born September 1, 1952, in Shreveport, LA to Norma Collins Taylor and Hansford Taylor and passed away January 23, 2019, in Shreveport, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Linda Sue Vincent and Arnetta Meadows. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Shelia Taylor of Blanchard, LA; son, William "Buddy" Taylor of Bossier City, LA; daughter, Salana Henderson of San Marcos, TX; sister, Deborah Ann Martin of Shreveport, LA; grandchildren, Keifer, Elizabeth, David and Alaina. David was a loving daddy, Papaw, brother, uncle and friend who will be greatly missed. He loved his family and his church dearly. David enjoyed traveling with his wife on his Harley and spending time with his grandbabies. The family suggests memorials may be made to Blanchard Church of the Nazarene, 251 N.
