Bossier City, LA - A memorial service celebrating the life of David Russell Marsh, 45, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2021 in the chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating will be Bro. Billy Murry Hodge of Summer Grove Baptist Church in Shreveport.
Dave was born on May 21, 1976 in Bossier City, Louisiana and passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021 at his home in Bossier City. He was a 1994 graduate of Bossier High School. Dave was a plumber for Murray Plumbing for many years. He enjoyed grilling, telling stories and spending time with his family and friends. Dave was very artistic and loved creating beautiful works of art that will be forever cherished by his daughter, Stephanie whom he loved more than anything else in this world. Dave was a jokester who enjoyed bringing smiles to other people's faces and making them laugh. Dave loved life and lived it to the fullest. He relished every moment that he was able to spend time with those he loved.
Dave was preceded in death by his father, Timothy Ray Marsh; maternal grandparents, John and Sophia Henning; paternal grandparents, John and Glenice Marsh; and father-in-law, Jerry Dean Kruise.
Left to cherish beautiful memories of Dave is his daughter, Stephanie Renee Marsh of Bossier City, LA; his ex-wife and love of his life, Jennifer Marsh of Bossier City; mother, Carol Mahoney and husband, Jimmy of Bossier City; brother, Eric Marsh and wife, Jenn of Shreveport; mother-in-law, Beverly Kruise of Bossier City; brother-in-law, Jerry Kruise and wife, Melissa of Bossier City; and special family friend, Robby Mayence.
Dave was loved by everyone who knew him. The fond memories shared with him will be cherished, and he will never be forgotten.
