David E. Reiser

Shreveport, LA - A Cajun Wake celebrating the life of David E. Reiser will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 1, 2020 at his daughter's house, Rebecca Reiser. David was born November 16, 1954 in Mobile, Alabama the son of Joseph B and Mary Jones Reiser. He passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020 in Shreveport. David was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Reiser; brother, J. B. Reiser and his granddaughter, Blair Leighanne David. Dave was loved by many and a friend to all. He was an outstanding father, grandfather, son and friend. His love was 2nd to none. He had a heart of gold and would help anyone with anything he could. He enjoyed a good joke more than anyone; it didn't matter the time of day. He loved to hunt and fish and adored being outdoors surrounding himself with nature and loved ones. He will surely be missed, but his memory and love will carry on forever. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Rebecca Reiser; Step-son, Paul David Smith and wife Danielle; brother, Ray Reiser and wife, Cathy; sister-in-law, Candy Reiser; grandchildren, Brantli David, Taylor, Chase and Dylan Smith, and Jackson Irvin; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
