David "Buddy" McMillian

David "Buddy" Wyatt McMillian, 85, of Many, Louisiana entered into eternal rest on March 25, 2022. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2022, located at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Negreet, Louisiana. Funeral services honoring the life of Buddy will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 27, 2022, located at the church. Officiating the service will be Bro. Jimmy Glover. Interment will be held in the church cemetery. David was born on January 11, 1937, in Many, Louisiana to William Alvie McMillian and Frances Pearl Speight McMillian. Preceding Buddy are his parents, W.A. "Al" and Pearl McMillian and sister, Aleta "Muff" Burr. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Janell Kay (Wright) McMillian of Many, LA; sons, Bruce McMillian and wife Tina of Florien, LA, Jason McMillian of Many, LA, and Brent McMillian of Many, LA; daughter, Shelia Branam and husband Kerry of Many, LA; sisters, Daphine Moore of Many, LA, Marla Gribbin of Many, LA, Sandra Davis of Logansport, LA, and Sherry Salter and husband, Larry Scott of Many, LA; along with eight grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Honoring Buddy as pallbearers will be Brandley McMillian, Ryan LeBlanc, K.D. Calais, Adyson Leach, Micala Britt, Abbey Farmer, Brent McMillian, Jr., and Darien McMillian.
