Funeral services for David L. Loyd will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Rose-Neath Bossier Chapel, Bossier City, LA. Officiating will be Bro. Rick McDonald. Interment will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery on Swan Lake Rd in Bossier City. Visitation will be Saturday from 12 noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home. David was born in Caddo Parish, LA on July 18, 1942 to David Rufus and Aubrey Loyd and passed away November 14, 2018 in Shreveport, LA. He retired from Beaird Industries. David loved fishing with family and friends He was preceded in death by his parents; infant sister, Welcome Maureen Loyd; brothers, Darrell M. Loyd and Gary Lynn Loyd; daughter, Teresa LeAnn Loyd and grandson, Taylor Grant Loyd. David is survived by his wife, Vivian "Dickie" Loyd; son, Marty L. Loyd and wife, Myra; grandchildren, Mitchell Loyd, Aaron Loyd, Kyle Conly and wife Kaitlynd, Kory Conly and wife Dena, Kirsten Hinton and fiancé' Jake, Wendi Wood and husband Wade, Emily Byrd, Cara Long, Haley Golden and husband, Don; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Sonya Worley and husband Donnie and a host of nieces and nephews. Honoring David as pallbearers will be, Mitchell Loyd, Aaron Loyd, Kyle Conly, Kory Conly, Robert "Vet" Brown and Kevin Chesney.
