David Wayne Long, Jr.

Celebration of Life for David Wayne Long, Jr, 51, of Logansport, Louisiana will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 943 Polk St., Mansfield, Louisiana. Bro. Dean Register will be officiating the service. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.

David was born on August 27, 1971, in Baytown, Texas, and entered into eternal rest on October 6, 2022, in Shreveport, Louisiana after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather.

Preceding David in death was his father, David Long, Sr., and Stepfather, Mike Fisher.  Left to cherish his memory include his wife of 28 years, Carol Long; mother, Michaeline Procell; daughters, Krysten Cheyenne Long and Katelyn "Bug" Long; sister, Jennifer Hargrave and husband, Bobby; brothers, Jason Long and wife, Kira, and Chris Marion and wife, Karen; grandchild, Lena Cather; four nephews, Chase, Tristan, Austin, and Mason; one niece, Chasity; and host of family and friends.
