David Thomas (Ambrose) Gardner was born on October 21, 1960, in Homer, Louisiana. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, in Homer, Louisiana with his loving and devoted sister by his side.

David, or Ambrose, as he was called by many, graduated from LSUS with a degree in Child Psychology. He worked as a newspaper carrier for many years.
