A memorial service for Daryl Muslow, 70, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, May 28, 2023 at B’nai Zion Congregation, 245 Southfield Rd, Shreveport, Louisiana. A private graveside service will be held in the B’nai Zion Section of Greenwood Cemetery on Stoner Avenue in Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Rabbi Jana L. De Benedetti.
Daryl was born on December 30, 1952 to Marvin and Janice Muslow in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
He was a graduate of Henderson State University, where he was editor of the school newspaper. He founded and operated Muslow Insurance Agency for many years. He was a landowner involved in the timber business and the oil and gas industry. He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather whose family was his priority by whom he will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Stephen Muslow. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary R. Muslow; son, Eric Muslow and wife, Heather; daughters, Lauren Hollis, Caroline Muslow, Kathleen McCole and wife, Lauren Jones, Keely McCole and husband, Kristopher Gotleb, Shannon McCole and husband, Cray Lloyd; sister-in-law, Mary C. Muslow; brother, Richard Muslow and wife, Rita Williams; grandchildren, Dylan Muslow and wife, Mallory, Nicholas Muslow, Samantha Muslow and Kaylie Hollis; great-grandchild, Lana Muslow and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to the Koala Club, 4809 Shed Rd, Bossier City, Louisiana 71111 or to the B’nai Zion Congregation, 245 Southfield Rd, Shreveport, Louisiana.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Northwest Louisiana Nephrology, Dialysis Home Therapies, Dr. Rokaw, Vicky Burnett, Dr. Chhabra, Dr. Fredi, Brandy Rambin and Dr. Charles Lyon at Pierremont Cardiology for the excellent care and compassion shown to Daryl and his family.
