Rosary to follow the Visitation at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2022. Burial to follow the service at Haughton Cemetery. Officiating the service will be Father Karl Daigle.

Darleen was born on January 28, 1962, in Natchez, Mississippi, to Jerry Alvin Hudson and Rachel Inez Holley Hudson. She went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 25, 2022, in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Darleen was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt, and niece. She spent 11 years as a substitute teacher, subbing at Haughton schools. She treated every one of her kids at Haughton Schools like they were her own, giving them frequent life-lesson talks. She proudly worked in the banking industry for several years. One of her greatest accomplishments and jobs was being a devoted homemaker, constantly taking excellent care of her husband, kids, and pets throughout the decades. She was a devout Catholic and loved the Lord. She touched hundreds of lives and greeted everyone with a smile. She would laugh at the silliest things and could make anyone giggle with her continuous and preposterous remarks. Darleen was loved and adored by many and will be greatly missed for her generosity, hospitality, and outgoing and fun-loving personality.

Darleen is preceded in death by her parents, and mother-in-law, Jackie Reggio. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Chris Reggio; father-in-law, Maurice Reggio; sons, Brett Reggio and Ryan Reggio and wife, Lauren; daughter, Caroline Reggio; sisters, Jerrie-Lynn Irby and husband, Donnie and Barbara Lee and husband, Rick; brother Kerry Hudson and wife, Carla; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins that would take years to list out. She’s also survived by many, many beloved friends that would take years to list out as well.

Honoring Darleen as pallbearers will be Daniel Lee, Matthew Mitchell, Colton Sibert, John McGarvey, Jacob Hendrix, and Marty Hendrix. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Pederson, Randy Pelton, David Pearson, Paul Nixon, and Jamie Irby.
