Danny L. Ryder, age 57, of Marksville, Louisiana, born August 10, 1968, passed away on May 30, 2026 , at the Avoyelles Hospital in Marksville.

Danny had a passion of caring for livestock, reflecting his dedication to animals and the land. He found enjoyment in the excitement of the casino, and above all, cherished family holidays. As a true jack-of-all-trades, Danny was known for his ability to tackle any project-whether it was fixing something, helping others with practical skills or coming up with creative solutions. His versatility made him the person everyone relied on, and he approached each task with care and a can-do attitude. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will forever live in our hearts

He was preceded in death by his father, Mac Ryder; daughter, Rachel Danielle Ryder; paternal grandparents, Jesse & Pearl Ryder; maternal grandparents, Monroe & Vallie Franks.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Rachel Wallace of Marksville, Louisiana; sister, Kim (Robert) Lloyd of Arkansas; nephew, Dillon Lloyd of Arkansas and niece, Sara Lloyd of Arkansas.

Serving as pallbearers; Dale Ryder Jr., Ronald Gagnard, Robert Lloyd, Dillon Lloyd, Elmus Ryder, and Luke Ryder. Honorary pall bearers are Brent Ryder, and Dale Ryder Sr.

Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Markville, Louisiana.
