Daniel “Danny” Ralph Taylor, 65, went home to his Lord and Savior on Friday, May 17, 2024. He was born on November 20, 1958, in Dreux, France to William Taylor Jr. and Arlene Taylor.
Danny was a resident of Haughton, Louisiana. He graduated from Southwood High School in 1976. He married the love of his life, Cynthia Taylor in 1982. During his life, he worked at Safeway, Dixie Metals and Halco Paving. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, gardening, gold panning, watching NASCAR and bowling. His claim to fame was bowling a perfect 300 game at Holiday Lanes in April of 1999.
Danny is preceded in death by his father, William “Bill” Taylor, Jr.; grandparents, William “Bill” Taylor Sr. and Trannie Taylor, and James and Flavle Hurdle; Uncle Dale Hurdle; brother-in-law, Ron McCollister; and son-in-law, William E. Johnson, II. Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Arlene Taylor; wife, Cindy Taylor; daughter, Danielle Johnson; brothers, Ronny and wife, Angel Taylor, and Mike Taylor; sisters, Carol McCollister and Cathy Madden; Uncle Ralph Hurdle; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A private “Celebration of Life” will be held at a later date.
Danny will be terribly missed but the family will forever love and cherish his memory.
