Funeral services in honor of Daniel Eugene Becker (42), of Ashland will be held on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Arcadia. Officiating the service will be Rev. Randy Ray and Rev. Tim Robinson. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Hurricane Cemetery north of Arcadia.
Daniel was born on June 8, 1983, to Paula and Mike Becker. He passed away on May 19, 2026, as a result of complications from pneumonia and an aortic aneurysm.
Daniel loved anything outdoors, from hunting and fishing to sports activities. Daniel was a “prankster.” He loved playing tricks on friends and if he knew he got under your skin, he loved it even more. He loved his family dearly. He was a devoted son, father, and friend.
Daniel was a certified welder, worked in the oilfield, and was presently working at C & H Precision Machines in Natchitoches.
Daniel was preceded in death by grandparents Correy and Christine Waits and Virginia Becker, uncle Billy Waits and wife Faye, and by his cousin Emily Becker.
Left to cherish his memories are his parents Paula and Mike Becker, children Cora Ann, Lilli Grace, Nathan Curtis, and Gracyn Avery. He also leaves his sister Chrissie Eades (Chris), nieces Molly Swayze (Tristan) and Mattison Fowler, nephew Max Eades, uncles Fred Becker (Donna) and Mack Waits (Margaret), aunt Sue Edwards (Ronnie), and numerous cousins.
Serving as pallbearers will be Nathan Cherry, Terry Chesser, Todd Coburn, Thomas Bourn, Don Floyd, and Robert Stassen. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Becker, Bill Waits, Michael Waits, Jerry Simpson, and Tristan Swayze.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist of Arcadia’s Youth Group or Children’s Group.
