Danette Marie "Cissy" Cole

Danette Marie “Cissy” Cole, 66, was born on February 15, 1957 in Shreveport, Louisiana to James L. Cole, Sr. and Virginia Cole and passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

She spent over 15 years as a loyal and dedicated Sales Associate at Lowe’s Home Improvement on Youree Drive in Shreveport. She always had a smile on her face and truly enjoyed helping guests and going above and beyond for them in any way she could. She had a love for all animals and spent time volunteering with animal rescue.

She is preceded in death by her father, James L. Cole, Sr. Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Virginia Cole; daughter, Amanda Harmon and husband, Mark Jenkins, Jr.; son, Casey Cole; grandchildren, Matthew Harmon and Marleigh Jenkins; sister, Deb Oxner and husband, Jim and brother, James L. Cole, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
