Funeral services for Dale Robin, age 85 will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 705 S. Spruce Street, Vivian, LA with Rev. John McCaherty officiating. Interment to follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Oil City, LA. There will be a time of visitation beginning at 12 Noon until service time.
Dale was born on February 28, 1941 in Oil City, LA to John and Stella Robin and passed away on May 24, 2026 in Ducktown, TN.
Dale Patrick Robin's life was characterized by his boundless energy and adventurous spirit. From his early days as a Boy Scout to his time in the Navy, he had a passion for exploration, traveling the southeastern United States and abroad. In his hometown of Oil City, Louisiana, Dale was a source of support for many, using his handyman skills to help those around him. A dedicated member of Ferry Lake Baptist Church, he was an active participant in the choir. He also enjoyed singing karaoke and dancing in his free time. Dale's positivity was evident even in rehabilitation, where he taught his caregivers the jitterbug. He will be remembered for his kindness and genuine care for others, leaving a lasting impact that will be deeply missed.
Dale is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Mildred Stewart, Loraine Feibel, Catherine Strickland and brother, Clinton Robin.
Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Camen McMilan, daughter, Gaela (Greg) Lashley, grandchildren, Garrett Lashley, Kaleigh Colburn and Tyler Lashley. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Cylas Colburn, Ezekiel Colburn, Atticus Colburn, Watson Colburn and Wells Colburn.
