A Mass of Christian Burial for Cynthia Ann Ware Walker, 65, will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2021 at St. Jude Roman Catholic Church, 4700 Palmetto Road, Benton, Louisiana with Celebrant Father Karl Daigle. The Rosary will begin at 12:30 p.m., with a reception following the Mass.
Cindy was born on September 15, 1956 in Montgomery, Alabama to John Stone Ware III and Adrienne Marie Ware. She passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021 in Bossier City, Louisiana.
For most of her childhood Cindy lived in Metairie, Louisiana. She graduated from Ursaline Academy. Following graduation Cindy attended St. Mary's Dominican College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. Over the course of her career, she was an office manager for various companies, including legal practices. She also worked for oil exploration companies and timber companies. Most recently Cindy worked part-time for Bayou Sate Timber in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Cindy married her husband of 17 years, Michael "Sumo" Douglas Walker, on August 14, 2004. Throughout their marriage they shared her love for traveling, gardening and photography. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. Her entire life was devoted to her husband, family and friends. Cindy was a lifelong Catholic, she was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Jude Roman Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents. Cindy is survived by her husband; brother, John Stone Ware IV; and son, Bradley Andrew Adams.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Bradley Adams, Hank Boggs, Al Bohl, Harvey Bryant, Don Espinosa, John Goodhart, Ben Melton, Noble Thompson and James Walker.
