Cynthia "Cindy" Harsin McClure was born July 11, 1962 in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away, Thursday, August 27, 2020. Cindy loved spending time with her beloved husband, Jay, whether they were traveling or spending time fishing at the lodge where they were married, they were the joy of each other's lives. She was passionate about animal rescue which could be seen in her love of her fur babies, Molly, Bonnie and Peaches. Cindy loved making all kinds of crafts for her loved ones, playing card games and family cookouts. She was a fan of college football and P.B.R. Rodeo. Family was of the most importance to Cindy, creating lasting bonds of love that will be cherished forever. She loved having spa days with her nieces and treating the family to her homemade desserts. She will always be remembered as a woman of deep Christian faith and was a testament to the power of the Lord's grace and forgiveness. She was a graduate of Elysian Fields High School in Elysian Fields, Texas. Cindy is preceded in death by her loving husband, James "Jay" McClure; parents, June Irene Carpenter and Gerald Edward Harsin and brother-in-law, Randy McClure. Left to cherish her memory are her sister-in-law, Michelle McClure; brothers-in-law, Earl McClure and wife, Grace, Sammy McClure and wife, Tina; brothers, Mike Harsin and wife, Wendy and Tom Harsin and wife, Janet; nieces and nephews, Melissa Brooks and fiancé, Mackie, Christina Brooks and fiancé, Dusty, Brandy Corbett and husband, Dayton, James McClure and wife, Jessica, Billy McClure, Larry McClure Mary Sawyer and husband, Austin, Rachel Gunnels and husband, David, Christian McClure, Robin Loomis and husband, Austin, Molly Martinez and husband, Ricky, Bobbi Armstrong and husband, David and Tera Swigart and husband, Chad and great-nieces and great-nephews, Maddison Grace Crews, Dillon Lee Crews, Shaylynn Rose McClure, Daniel James McClure, Pyrrha Nyx Sawyer, MJ Gunnels, Lillie Armstrong, Jack Armstrong, Jeremiah Swigart and Shelby Swigart. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials may be made to your local no-euthanasia animal shelter, your local rescue mission, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the charity of the donor's choice. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
