Cynthia "Cindy" Kay Waldrop Phillips

A "Celebration of Life" Memorial Service for Cynthia "Cindy" Kay Waldrop Phillips, 63, will be held on Monday, May 11, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 3:30 p.m. until the start of the service.

Cindy was born April 9, 1963 in Jackson, Mississippi to James and Juanita Waldrop and passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026. She was a lifelong resident of Shreveport where she graduated from Southwood High School in 1981. Her career included working in the beauty industry and in sales/marketing. Cindy had a sweet spirit, quick smile, hearty laugh, and she never met a stranger.

Cindy is preceded in death by her father, James Waldrop. Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Juanita Waldrop Siragusa; daughter, Whitney Phillips of Shreveport; brothers, Greg Waldrop and wife, Beth of Shreveport, Tim Waldrop and Karey Schaefer of Austin, Texas; nieces and nephews, Darren Waldrop and wife, Christie, Jonathan Waldrop and wife, Kat, Kristen Duke and husband, Joe, Jake Waldrop, Ava Waldrop; and eight great-nieces/nephews.

Because of Cindy's profession of faith and trust in Jesus Christ, we grieve with hope, trusting she is now in His presence, healed and whole.
