HAYNESVILLE, LA: Funeral services were held for Constance "Cathy" Caples Layton, 45, at the Hephzibah Baptist Church near Emerson, AR on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jeffery Derrick and Rev. Michael Caples, officiating. Interment followed at Hephzibah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends at the church from 1:00-2:00 p.m., prior to the services. Cathy was born February 9, 1972 in Minot, North Dakota to Joseph A. and Linda Murray Caples. She entered into rest Friday, February 24, 2017 in Homer, LA. Cathy was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James and Josephine Murray; and an aunt, Linda Murray. She is survived by her parents; paternal grandmother, Deloris Lott of Bossier City, LA; 2 children, Johnathon David Layton and Raygan Danielle Layton both of Phoenix, AZ; 2 brothers, Mike Caples and wife Michelle of Haughton, LA and James Caple and wife Hope of Bossier City, LA; a niece, Alyssa Caples; 2 nephews, Michael Caples and Brandon Caples; along with other relatives and friends. Pallbearers were Arlon Caples, Leon Murray, Mike Caples, James Caples, Michael Caples and Brandon Caples. In lieu of flowers honoring Cathy, her family suggests Hephzibah Baptist Church, 22960 Hwy 98, Emerson, AR 71740.
