Clifford Scott Gurley

Graveside Services honoring the life of Clifford Scott Gurley will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Bethel Cemetery in Logansport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Rev. Nancy Wofford. Scott was born on September 3, 1970 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Robert Glenn Gurley, Sr. and Carol Lea Edwards Gurley. He entered into eternal rest on March 12, 2021, in Jefferson, Louisiana. Scott was co-owner of Eagle Bail Bonds in Mansfield, Louisiana. Preceding Scott in death were his Mother, Carol Lea Gurley; Uncle, James Gurley; Aunt, Gloria Tullos. He is survived by his wife, Lori Foster Gurley of Natchitoches, Louisiana; Father, Robert Gurley Sr. and Step-mother, Sandy Gurley of Bethel Community, Louisiana; Daughters, Inda Alexandra Gurley of Bossier City, Louisiana, Ashlee Caroline Gurley of Logansport, Louisiana; Sons, Jonathan Grant Russell and wife Kimberly of Dallas, Texas, Jordan Bradshaw Russell and wife Julia of Abita Springs, Louisiana; Brothers, Robert Gurley, Jr and Angie Ramsey of Bethel Community, Louisiana, Adam Gurley and wife Wendy of Logansport, Louisiana; Grandchildren, Eleanor Russell and Harrison Russell; Nephews, Mac Gurley, Ethan Gurley, and Jace Gurley. Honoring Scott as pallbearers will be J. P. Brawley, Lance Woods, Durrett Woods, Mark Woods, Sederick Smith, Ricky Weeks, Rodney Arbuckle, and Benson Bagwell. Serving as Honorary pallbearer will be Jack Odom. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
