Claudie Jane Bacque

Funeral services for Claudie Jane Free Bacque, 78, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Pastor Marion "Buddy" Puryear officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at the funeral home. Claudie was born October 10, 1940 in Natchitoches, LA and went to be with the Lord on January 21, 2019. She was a loving wife and mother. She was truly one out of a million. Claudie was preceded in death by her parents, Truly and Martha Free. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, David Bacque; son, Stan Bacque; and sisters, Virgie Lanell Lee-Frierson (James) and Hazel Franklin-Frierson. Pallbearers will be Kirk Lee, Chad Franklin, Franklin Utz, Sterling Wells, Jimmy "Mac" Taylor, Wade Free, Jerry Compton, Trey Hall. Honorary pallbearers will be Von Jordan, Little John Buehler, Michael Free, James T. Taylor, and Steve Lee. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or American Cancer Society.
