A visitation for Claudia “Dinah” P. Puckett, 89, will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. A graveside service will follow at Thomas Wren Cemetery in Coushatta, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Reverend Harry Bamburg.
Claudia was born on February 6, 1936, to William David Pickett and Mattie Hazel Moseley in Coushatta, Louisiana, and passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 8, 2026, in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Claudia was a very God‑loving woman and a devoted Christian whose faith guided every part of her life. She found joy in sewing and all kinds of arts and crafts, and her greatest creative passion was making diamond art. Her gentle spirit and love for creating beautiful things reflected the light she carried within her.
She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, and nothing brought her more happiness than caring for her family. Claudia also loved traveling with her sisters, making memories that lasted a lifetime. Her creativity, warmth, and devotion to the people she loved will remain a lasting testament to the beautiful heart she shared with the world.
Claudia was preceded in death by her parents, William David Pickett and Mattie Hazel Moseley; her son, James Stanley Hicks; three brothers; and three sisters. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Lisa Benson; her only grandson, Brandon Benson; her brother, Joe Pickett, and his wife, Joyce; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Honoring Claudia as pallbearers will be David Pickett, Joey Pickett, Harold Giddens, Ronnie Giddens, Joe Windham, and Bubba Bell.
The family would like to thank Dr. Scott Howard, Dr. David Green, and the Willis Knighton Hospital 6th-floor nursing staff. Her daughter would also like to thank the Riverview Care Center staff for loving and caring for her mother as if she were their own. Momma loved each and every one of you.
