Claude L. Wiggins

Claude L. Wiggins, 86, was born February 7, 1935 in Coushatta, Louisiana to J.W. Wiggins and Ira Mae Loftin Wiggins and passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021. The family will have a "Celebration of Life" for him to be announced at a later date. Claude was the owner of Red River Box. He loved family and his work. He was a hard-working man and loved making corrugated boxes and loved the many people who worked for him. The family moved to Louisiana in 1968 for Claude to start his business, Shreveport Container, Inc. Later in 2004, he began a new business, Red River Box. He would go to work at 7:00 a.m. and get home at 6:00 p.m. He retired from Red River Box at the young age of 80. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, JoAnn Bickham Wiggins; and son, Stephen Claude Wiggins. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Sharon Wiggins Talbert and Jackie Wiggins Cline and husband, Michael; son-in-law, Richard Woodward; grandchildren, Melissa Talbert Nelson and husband, Jeff, Jennifer Cline Minnis and husband, Garrett, Beau Cline and wife, Jessica; and eight great-grandchildren; all of whom he loved dearly. Honorary pallbearers will be the former employees of Shreveport Container and Red River Box. The family would like to express special thanks to Claude's sitters, Sandra Hughes, Shelia Cawthorne and Sally White for all the love, support and compassion shown to him during his illness.
